By plane

By car and high-speed boat

You can go to Phu Quoc island in two ways:

Ho Chi Minh City – Ha Tien – Phu Quoc

From Ho Chi Minh City, you catch a bus to Ha Tien at the Mien Tay bus station. The ticket for one turn is 140,000 VND to 170,000 VND.

In Ha Tien, you have two options to go to Phu Quoc. The first way is to take a ferry at Thanh Thoi wharf at 6 a.m or 12 a.m every day. A ticket costs 185,000 VND. After two hours, you will come to Da Chong harbor, Thom beach, which is 20 kilometers from Duong Dong town center.

The second way is to get a high-speed boat at Ha Tien wharf. After more than one hour, you will stop at Ham Ninh port, An Thoi, which is 15 kilometers from Duong Dong town center. Ticket prices range from 160,000 to 230,000 VND.

Ho Chi Minh City – Rach Gia – Phu Quoc

In Ho Chi Minh City, you move to Mien Tay bus station to catch a bus to Rach Gia. The ticket is priced at 110,000 to 130,000 VND. It will take you between 5 to 7 hours to move.

From here, you arrive at Rach Gia pier to continue to reach Phu Quoc. Now, there are two carriers for this route with the ticket price for an adult fluctuates from 215,000 to 270,000 VND.

Transportation in Phu Quoc
