Kuang Si Waterfall

Wat Xieng Thong
Wat Xieng Thong is the most important pagoda in Luang Prabang. The temple was built in 1560 under the King Setthathirat. The temple has a wide precinct with many large and small architectural works following the Lao style with three-tiered tile roofs towards the ground. This place is famous for mural paintings of the Buddha created by Mosaic art.

Pak Ou Cave
A must-see attraction in Luang Prabang is Pak Ou Cave. The number of Buddha statues in the cave can be up to 4,000. They are divided into two caves, particularly, 1,500 statues in Tam Pum cave and 2,500 statues in the lower cave. The Buddha system here is quite diverse. There are a wide variety of figures of the Buddha such as standing, sitting and lying.
Chomsy Hill, also known as Mount Phou Si, is about 80 meters high and has more than 300 steps build of brick. On the way climbing up the mountain, there are resting places for visitors. The best time to climb the hill is in the late afternoon before the sunset. From here, you can observe the panoramic view of Luang Prabang. At the top of the mountain is located Wat Chom Si, which has a height of 20 meters and is home to many beautiful Buddha statues. It can be said that Chomsy Hill is the most attractive tourist spot in Luang Prabang.
