Introduction about Bai Tu Long Bay
Bai Tu Long Bay is located in the east of Halong Bay, a part of the Gulf of Tonkin and belongs to the Northeast region of Vietnam. Bai Tu Long Bay consists of the water of Ha Long City. The east of the bay is bounded by the sea; the west is bordered by Cam Pha town and the northeast is bordered by Co To island.
Along the sea route from Halong Bay to Bai Tu Long Bay are the complex of beautiful limestone karst mountains. The famous islands with the scenic beauty such as Cap Ky Nhay, Cap Ky Nha, The Vang, Hon Chong and Hon Van Don are also interesting places to explore.
Bai Tu Long Bay consists of hundreds of large and small islands, many of which are large and inhabited. The inhabitants of the bay mainly live in Van Don island district and the islands of Quan Lan, Ban Sen, Ngoc Vung and the coastal areas of Ben Do and Cua Ong. The inhabitants here live by fishing and aquaculture.

Bai Tu Long Bay also has rich and varied fauna and flora. The flora consists of 780 species, 468 species with limbs, 135 families listed among vascular plants. Of them, 21 species of rare plants are listed in the Vietnam’s Red Data Book and 10 species of rare species are protected species.

In the population of Bai Tu Long Bay, there are two kilometers of natural coastline with fine white sand which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Gulf of Tonkin.
